Outside work Begins!

The weather as finally cooperated enough for those who have offered to prep the outside of Felicity to come and work. Once the exterior has been scraped and sanded, we can finally paint! We will begin with a primer and then add a warm yellow with white trim. The money for this has already been donated so we will only have to wait on the weather!

When painting is to commence, I will announce it and anyone willing and able will be included!

Woohoo!

Great Weekend!

Dear Felicitites,

We have had a profitable weekend! Of the $600 needed we sit today at $705! Thank you so much for all who gave and all who prayed. We hope to begin work on floors ASAP.
I have also met with many at Peak Vista and hope to have a visit from the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile which offers Health and Dental Services for those with little or no insurance (keep an eye out for their National Debut on CNN's Campbell Brown! I would love to have a relationship with them that will allow us to host them monthly at Felicity and allow them to give care to those in our immediate area.
Things are moving... I will post pictures as the work in the house is being done.

Keep telling friends of the great things we will do through Felicity!

Yours,
Christine

Our Feliciathon continues

We have someone who wanted to give a partial chunk of $20, she was then matched by someone else for another $20. Then we had someone give another $100 chunk...
for those keeping track that means we are at $440 of the $600 needed!

Yay God.

Thank you so much for all of you who have given. I am completely humbled and honored to be given the opportunity to do something people are excited about!

Yours,
Christine

UPDATE!!

It has comes to my attention that if the money needed (approx. $600) was broken down into smaller chunks, say 6 $100 chunks, we would be able to get this floor done and Felicity that much closer to being opened!
So as of now, I have 2 people willing to give $100. That's $200 hundred towards the goal! If you are interested in giving a "chunk" PLEASE EMAIL ME.
I feel a little like PBS.

Thank you for those willing to give!!!!

This week at Felicity...

My Dear Felicitites,

As i sit in Starbucks on this April Fools Day writing to you, i only wish I was joking. We have found ourselves at a standstill with Felicity. In order to move on, we really need the wood floors redone, however the cost is not in our budget. So i am waiting, canvassing and praying for money to finish the project. I ask that you pray with me.
Also - every time the painter has scheduled us into his busy life to come and begin the exterior, the weather has not cooperated with him. As soon as we have some consistent weather (i know that's an oxymoron in Colorado) we will be able to move on the outside.
So it looks to me Felicity will be delayed in its opening. REGARDLESS, in the words of Winston Churchill, i promise to "NEVER, NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP!"

Yours affectionately,
Christine
